SKM Recycling provides a safe work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, suppliers and customers as Safety and Risk Management is integrated into the total quality management of the organisation.
SKM is an Occupational Health and Safety workplace and operates under this Code of Practice and compliance management at all times. The company's Management Plan to achieve set safety objectives and targets for risk elimination of workplace injuries.
Set objectives identify all activities that have associated hazards and risks and the goals are to eliminate them where reasonable and practicable through an achievable and measurable plan.
The company's emphasis is placed on communication and consultation where employees together with management are encouraged to seek appropriate solutions. Everyone's input is valued and safety standards are continuously improved for both the organisation and employees.
